Photo prints, printed in Ottawa
Every photo print from Just Joy Imaging is printed in-house in Ottawa, Canada, on one professional printer named Bresson. Here's how your photo becomes a print, which paper to choose, and what each size costs.

Meet Bresson
I've been printing since I started studying photography at Algonquin College in 2013. In 2016, I bought my own Epson Stylus Pro 7900 so I could print everything in-house. At school, the printers were named after famous photographers, so I kept the tradition: mine is named after Henri Cartier-Bresson, the photographer known for "the decisive moment." Your photos are never sent off to a big lab. The person you email is the person printing your photo.
From your photo to your print
- I check every photo. I look at the size and crop of each photo you send, and let you know if anything won't print well before we go ahead.
- Colour-balanced on a calibrated screen. Each photo is adjusted so the colours on your print match what you expect.
- Printed on Bresson. Archival inks on Enhanced Matte or Premium Lustre paper, up to 24" wide.
- Ready in 2–3 business days after we confirm your order. Pick up in Ottawa for free, or have it shipped within Canada from $15.
Matte or lustre?
Enhanced Matte
Warm tones and no shine.
Lovely for black and white, soft or vintage-looking photos, and walls in bright rooms.
Premium Lustre
Vibrant colour with a soft sheen.
Great for colourful photos, albums and everyday prints.
Both papers cost the same, so pick the look you like best.
Prints on Enhanced Matte and Premium Lustre.
Sizes and prices
Need a different size? Prints can be made to fit your photo, just ask.
Will my photo print well?
Depending on the phone, photos can print anywhere from 4×6 up to 16×20. Send the original file rather than a screenshot or a photo saved from social media, since those are shrunk and lose detail. I'll tell you honestly what size each photo can handle before anything is printed.
