About these terms

This website is run by Just Joy Imaging, a photography and printing business in Ottawa, Ontario, owned by Joy Covey. By using the website or placing a print order, you agree to these terms. If you have questions, email justjoyimaging@gmail.com.

Photos on this website

All photos and content on this website belong to Just Joy Imaging unless stated otherwise. Under Canada's Copyright Act, I keep the copyright to the photos I take, including photos taken for clients, unless we agree otherwise in writing. Please don't copy, download, share or reuse them without my written permission. Clients may use their photos as set out in their agreement.

Print orders

• Your order is confirmed once I reply with your sizes, paper and total. Sending the order form doesn't commit you to anything, and there's no payment until we've confirmed your order.
• Payment is due before pickup, or before your order ships. You can pay by e-transfer, cheque payable to Just Joy Imaging, or cash at pickup.
• Timing: prints and canvas wraps are usually ready 2–3 business days after your order is confirmed. If you need your order by a certain date, tell me when you order.
• Pickup and shipping: pickup in Ottawa is free, by appointment. Shipping within Canada starts at $15, and I'll confirm the exact cost with your total.
• Prices are listed on The Print Shop page and may change. The price I confirm with your order is the price you pay.

Your photos

When you upload a photo, you confirm that you took it, own it, or have permission to print it. I can't print professional photos without the photographer's permission, and I may decline any order I believe would break copyright or other laws.

Colours on every screen are a little different. I colour-balance every photo before printing, so your print may look slightly different from how it appears on your phone or computer.

Reprints and refunds

Because every order is printed specifically for you, prints can't be returned or refunded once they're printed. If your order is damaged or has a printing flaw, I'll reprint it at no charge when you contact me with a photo of the problem:

• Shipped orders: within 21 days of delivery.
• Pickup orders: within 7 days of pickup.

Event and wedding photography

Bookings for events and weddings are confirmed by a signed agreement and a non-refundable retainer. That agreement sets out what's included, payment and how the photos can be used, and it takes priority over these terms.

Links to other websites

This website links to other services, such as Pixieset photo galleries. I'm not responsible for the content or privacy practices of other websites.

Liability

I take care with every order. To the extent the law allows, my responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies.
